Patented active visual guidance for safer roads

Synchronized traffic cone lights reveal the safe path sooner.

LIGHTING THE WAY. PROTECTING LIVES.
Patented SafetyX technology

SafetyX is a patented traffic marker illumination system that adds synchronized, app-controlled lighting to traffic cones and channelizing devices—turning static nighttime work zones into clear, active guidance.

The nighttime challenge

Reflective markers wait for headlights. SafetyX actively gets attention.

Nighttime lane changes, tapers and detours ask drivers to read a changing roadway in seconds. SafetyX supplements familiar traffic-control devices with visible, synchronized light at pavement level—where the decision is being made.

Static work zone

Cones and barrels depend primarily on reflection and ambient light.

Active SafetyX guidance

Illuminated devices create a brighter boundary and an intuitive path through the change.

Patented SafetyX system

Mount. Group. Guide.

SafetyX’s patented platform combines secure cone mounting with coordinated active guidance. Crews use the control interface to organize devices, set brightness and select the behavior best suited to the traffic plan.

01

Mount the unit

Place the puck inside the cone and turn the exterior knob. Its captive screw passes through the cone wall and threads into the puck.

02

Create the work zone

Power the devices, assign groups and confirm each unit is communicating and responding.

03

Direct attention

Choose steady, synchronized blink or sequenced operation; adjust brightness and timing from one interface.

Designed for the field

Fast to install. Fast to power back up.

The final mechanical design keeps the two most common field actions simple: secure the puck from outside the cone, and replace the power pack from the bottom without removing the installed unit.

Cone installation

Remove the knob. Position the unit. Tighten securely.

The circular side knob unscrews from the puck, then its captive screw passes through the cone wall and threads back into the puck.

SECURE
  1. Unscrew and remove the circular side knob.
  2. Position the complete unit inside the cone.
  3. Pass the screw through the cone wall and tighten it into the puck.
Battery change

Twist. Unlock. Remove.

The supplied sequence shows the sealed battery pack releasing from the bottom of the installed puck with a short 34-degree bayonet twist.

Step 1: Battery pack attached to the underside of the SafetyX unitStep 2: Battery pack unlocked from the underside connectionStep 3: Battery pack removed, exposing the contact board
Battery removal · 1 → 2 → 3
  1. Start with the battery pack locked beneath the puck.
  2. Twist the pack 34 degrees to release the bayonet lock.
  3. Pull the pack down; reverse the steps to install a fresh pack.
System capabilities

Simple control for a dynamic work zone.

SafetyX brings essential work-zone controls together while synchronized device behavior keeps the intended command consistent across the group.

Secure by design. Automatically synchronized.

Built-in proprietary encryption protects control communications, while every SafetyX device automatically stays in sync with the other units in its group.

⌁

Secure group control

Organize deployed units and send encrypted commands to the full work-zone group from one interface.

✦

Brightness control

Adapt visibility for dusk, darkness, ambient lighting and the needs of the site.

↝

Directional sequencing

Run light patterns left or right to reinforce the intended path of travel.

◉

Multiple light modes

Power, steady illumination, synchronized blink and step operation are available.

◷

Global timer

Schedule operation across the deployment with a shared on/off window.

Twist-lock battery

Exchange the bottom-mounted battery pack without removing the puck from the cone.

⚙

Secure cone mount

An exterior knob drives a captive screw through the cone wall into the puck.

≈42 hrtested continuous blink

4–5 nights per charge

About 42 hours of tested continuous blinking provides 4–5 nights of service on one charge.

Runtime can vary with light mode, brightness, temperature, battery condition and field operating conditions.

Traffic safety lighting FAQ

Synchronized lighting for nighttime work zones and lane closures.

SafetyX combines illuminated traffic cones, wireless group control and directional sequences to make temporary traffic patterns easier to recognize after dark.

What is a synchronized traffic cone lighting system?

It is a group of connected traffic safety lights that operate together. SafetyX units can illuminate, blink in sync or run a directional sequence across a line of cones and channelizing devices.

How does SafetyX improve nighttime work-zone visibility?

SafetyX adds active pavement-level lighting to familiar traffic-control devices, helping drivers recognize lane boundaries, tapers, detours and the intended path sooner.

Where can SafetyX traffic safety lighting be used?

Applications include highway lane closures, road-construction zones, emergency incident scenes, temporary detours, special-event traffic control and industrial vehicle routes.

How are SafetyX units mounted and powered?

The puck mounts inside the cone with an exterior screw knob. A rechargeable twist-lock battery pack changes from the bottom and provides about 42 hours of tested continuous blinking, or 4–5 nights of typical service.
